Book Introduction
This book is the exam review materials for IB Chinese Language B. It is written based on 5 themes from the new syllabus (first exam in 2020).
It covers a wide range of topics under the 5 main themes including language and identities, beliefs and values, health and well-being, holidays and travel, leisure activities, customs and traditions, migration, entertainment, communication and media, technology, scientific innovation, social relationships, community, social engagement, education, the environment, human rights, peace and conflict, equality, globalization, etc.
Sections of Reading Comprehension Exercise, Mind Map, and Vocabulary Table are found under each topic. About the Author
Ms. Vivienne Fung holds a master's degree in Mandarin Education. With around 20 years' experience in teaching Chinese at international schools, she is now a Chinese teacher in Hong Kong, an IBDP Examiner, and the IBDP Workshop Leader. She is the author of Sheng Quan - High School Chinese Revision on Writing.
Ms Elaine He holds two Master degrees in English Language and Second Language Education, each from Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Cambridge, UK. She has taught both Chinese and IBDP Core Subject, Theory of Knowledge, in international schools in Hong Kong and overseas. Now she is a Chinese teacher in Australia, and an IBDP Examiner.
